Kia Lucky Motors has confirmed the reduction in the price of Kia Picanto, Sportage and Sorento in Pakistan after implementation of the new Auto Policy 2021-26, as the government has announced several tax cuts for Completely Knocked Down (CKD) vehicles being assembled in the country.
There have been several notifications circulating on social media regarding the price reduction of vehicles, including one by Honda Atlas and Kia Lucky Motors. However, these companies have denied issuing any such notifications since reduced prices were not made official by top management of the companies.
INCPak contacted an authorized dealership of Kia Lucky Motors in Karachi and they have informed us about price reduction for their Kia Picanto, Sportage and Sorento in Pakistan. However, the price of Kia Carnival will remain unchanged since there is no tax relaxation of Completely Built Units (CBUs) being imported into the country. These new prices have gone into effect from 3rd July 2021.
