As expected, Kia Lucky Motors has increased prices of some of its cars in Pakistan as the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) has depreciated to an all-time low of Rs. 307 against the US Dollar (USD).
The automotive continues to struggle due to the country’s current economic situation as automakers are highly dependent on imports. Furthermore, the price of vehicles have massively increase, which has affected sales as well.
Kia Pakistan is the first automaker to increase car prices amid the recent depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD), which means that others might follow and we can expect a wave of price revisions from these companies.
