Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has suspended the bookings of its entire car lineup in Pakistan due to the shortage of ready cars available with the company.
However, the sudden suspension of bookings may be the result of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) nosediving against the US Dollar (USD) by Rs. 25 today (26 January 2023).
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) closed at Rs. 255.43 against the US Dollar (USD) today after removing the cap on exchange rate in order to control the black market for the foreign currency.
It is pertinent to mention that had announced a price lock policy that was applicable until January 31. “Our link remains stronger than ever.” the company announced on Facebook. “Avail price lock till 31st January, 2023.” it added.
Recently, Kia Lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) had teased the launch of two new vehicles, the Kia Niro EV and the Kia Stinger in Pakistan. Furthermore, the vehicles had been put on display at various dealerships in Karachi for the viewing of the public.
