Millat’s Massey Ferguson Tractors have revised their prices following an increase in the General Sales Tax (GST) on tractors as announced in the Fiscal Budget 2024-25. The new prices will be effective from July 1, 2024.
Although the company issued a circular to all dealerships on July 9, 2024, the price increase had already been implemented. Previously, the base model MF 235, 50 HP Millat Tractor was priced at PKR 1,795,000. Following the GST hike, the price has risen to PKR 2,222,000.
The sudden increase in GST and tractor prices poses a challenge for the agriculture sector in Pakistan. However, the government has to comply with the IMF’s conditions to enter a new IMF program later this year.
Millat Tractors Latest Prices July 2024
Previously, The Millat Tractor Prices were increased in February 2023, The Government of Pakistan is also considering to Tax Agriculture sector later this year.
