MG Announces Ramadan Offer on MG HS in Pakistan

Morris Garages (MG) Pakistan has announced a Ramadan Offer on its most popular SUV, the MG HS Essence, in Pakistan.

In a social media post, the company said. “Gear Up for Eid Festivities by availing the Ramadan Offer to book MG HS Essence at a great price of PKR 8,199,000* (Ex-Factory Price)” the company said.

This is especially surprising since the Federal Government has raised General Sales Tax (GST) from 18% to 25% on SUVs, CUVs, and vehicles having engine capacity of 1400cc and above.

Despite the hike in GST, MG Pakistan has announced the Ramadan Offer and it will be keeping the price for MG HS Essence unchanged throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.

However, we should expect a price hike by MG Pakistan once the offer ends after Ramadan.

MG Pakistan increased price for the MG HS Essence in Pakistan last month from Rs. 6,899,000 to Rs. 8,199,000 and the decision to keep price unchanged will help attract more customers as all other automotive companies are passing the impact on the 25% GST to the customer.
