Javed Afridi has just teased the launch of the MG GT in Pakistan. According to a Tweet by Javed Afridi, the MG GT is going to launch in Pakistan later this year (2022), however, the entrepreneur did not give a specific launch date for the vehicle.
Taking to Twitter, Javed Afridi wrote, “MG GT see you this year in Pakistan.” It means that the vehicle will be launched sometime in the next seven months. However, Javed Afridi has teased several vehicles in the past and most of them never came close to a launch in the country.

It will be interesting to see if MG GT actually ends up launching in Pakistan. It bears mentioning that Afridi did not share any specifications and features of the vehicle being introduced in Pakistan. However, it will be safe to assume that MG Pakistan will be importing CBUs of the MG GT in Pakistan before starting local assembly of the vehicle.

There is no information about the Price of the MG GT in Pakistan and speculating one at this time would not be right considering the constant devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar (USD to PKR) coupled with almost monthly hikes in prices by automobile manufacturers.
