Is MG Motors Pakistan introducing MG 6 and MG RX8?

Javed Afridi, the man introduced MG Motors in Pakistan has just teased two new vehicles, including MG 6 sedan and the MG RX8 SUV through his social media handles which might mean that the company is planning on adding these vehicles to their local lineup.

Taking to Twitter, Afridi shared a short video of the MG 6 while asking his followers what they thought about the model and also their opinion regarding the price in the Pakistani market.

The first generation MG 6 was introduced back in 2010 in the United Kingdom and since then expanded to several other markets, including the Middle East.

The vehicle comes in several engine variants across different markets but the most standard configuration being offered the company includes a 1.5L turbo engine producing 169hp and 250Nm of torque together with a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Javed Afridi also shared pictures of the MG RX 6 SUV which looks similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser in terms of interior but in a completely different segment. The vehicle features a simple yet trendy interior with stitched fabric seats.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol engine capable of producing 224hp and 360Nm of torque while equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle comes in two variants, including a 4×2 rear wheel drive (RWD) and a 4×4 option.
