What is a Fuel Filler Neck?
The Fuel Filler Neck is the first part of the tube that carries the petrol to the tank while refilling. This part is made of metal and rusting may cause perforation as well as rust being mixed into the petrol and cause damage to the engine.
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) initially recalled the Suzuki Alto back in June 2022 over the same reason with the campaign starting in Karachi. However, the company has now expanded the service campaign nationwide and urges customers to get their Suzuki Alto inspected from the nearest dealership.
