Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has reportedly decided to discontinue the Suzuki Cultus in Pakistan. According to a report by PakWheels, a source has told them that the company is going to discontinue one of their best-selling vehicle in the company months.
The reports adds that the company wants to discontinue the Suzuki Cultus in Pakistan to promote their newly-launched Suzuki Swift. “Cultus was hanging somewhere between sales of Alto and Swift, and the company wanted the consumers to turn towards new Swift.” PakWheels quoted their source.
It further added that Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is looking to boost sales of Suzuki Alto as well. According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), Suzuki Alto sold 9,814 units in March 2022, which dropped to 5,009 units in April with a slight jump to 5,461 units in May 2022.
However, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has not yet confirmed any news regarding their decision to discontinue the Suzuki Cultus in Pakistan. Although, it seems highly unlikely that the company will go ahead with the decision as Suzuki Cultus is one of their best-selling vehicles and it was only launched in 2019.

It is pertinent to mention that rumors have been circulating on social media regarding Suzuki relaunching ‘The Boss’ aka Mehran at a very affordable price. However, these rumors are fake and everyone’s favorite hatchback is not making a come back after being discontinued in 2019.
