Suzuki Increases Prices of All Cars in Pakistan [April 2022]

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has announced a massive increase in car prices in Pakistan from today, 1^st April 2022 and it was not unexpected consider the continuously devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar and increase in cost of shipping for raw materials. In a notification, the company has announced an increase in prices of all cars in Pakistan, including Alto, Wagon R, Cultus, Bolan, Swift, Ravi, Jimny, Vitara and APV.

The increase in the Suzuki Car Prices in Pakistan will be applicable effectively immediately (1 April 2022) and all new bookings will take place at the new rates as mentioned by the company. It bears mentioning that other automotive manufacturers are also expected to announce the increase with Honda Atlas and Toyota’s Indus Motor Company having already notified of an increase in the prices of their vehicles.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has also notified of an increase in the price of Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan, while prices of other vehicles are also expected to increase soon. However, the company has not yet informed of such a decision to the public, but considering the current situation, it is very likely to happen in the coming days.

Suzuki Alto Price in Pakistan

The Price of the Suzuki Alto VX in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 119,000, bringing the new rate at Rs. 1,425,000 from the previous price of Rs. 1,306,000, while the Price of Suzuki Alto VXR has been increased to Rs. 1,675,000 after a hike of Rs. 129,,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 1,546,000. Meanwhile, the Price of Suzuki Alto VXL in Pakistan is now Rs. 1,886,000 after an increase of Rs. 139,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 1,747,000.

The Price of the Suzuki Cultus VXR in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 220,000, taking the new price to Rs. 2,250,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 2,030,000, while the Price of Suzuki Cultus VXL in Pakistan is now Rs. 2,474,000 after an increase of Rs. 230,000 from the previous rate of Rs. 2,244,000. Meanwhile, the Price of Suzuki Cultus AGS has been increased by Rs. 240,000 to the new rate of Rs. 2,662,000 from the previous price of Rs. 2,422,000.

The Price of Suzuki Wagon R VXR has been increased by Rs. 142,000 from the old rate of Rs. 1,877,000 to the new price of Rs. 2,019,000, while the Price of Suzuki Wagon R VXL has been increased by Rs. 154,000 to new price of Rs. 2,129,000 from the old rate of Rs. 1,975,000. Meanwhile, the Price of Suzuki Wagon R AGS is now Rs. 2,319,000, increased from previous rate of Rs. 2,158,000 by Rs. 161,000.

The Price of the Suzuki Swift GL (M/T) in Pakistan is now Rs. 2,694,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,499,000 after a jump of Rs. 195,000, while the Price of Suzuki Swift GL CVT has been raised by Rs. 209,000, bringing the new price to Rs. 2,908,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,699,000. Meanwhile, the Price of the top-of-the-line Suzuki Swift GLX CVT is now Rs. 3,169,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,899,000 after an increase of Rs. 270,000

It bears mentioning that Suzuki just released the Swift 2022 model last month and the company has already raised its price before even delivering the vehicles to customers. The price of the Suzuki Swift in Pakistan now crosses the Rs. 3 million mark for the top-of-the-line variant.

Meanwhile, the Price of Bolan GL (with AC) in Pakistan is now Rs. 1,370,000 after an increase of Rs. 105,000 from the old rate of Rs. 1,265,000.
