Peshawar based startup, Teleport, has unveiled their Model T1 Electric Bike which is indigenously manufactured in Pakistan
The unveil was done at the 2nd Graduation Ceremony 2020 at the National Incubation Center (NIC) in Peshawar and the Federal Minister of IT and Telecom, Syed Aminul Haque was present at the occasion.

During the ceremony, Teleport revealed the specifications for their Model T1 Electric Bike which is truly something unique being introduced in Pakistan.
However, it is to be noted that the current specifications are not final and might be changed by the time the Model T1 Electric Bike hits markets since the company is working on improving the product.
Engine and Transmission
According to the specification sheet revealed by the company, the electric bike is powered by a hub motor with automatic transmission capable of producing up to 160Nm of torque with a top speed of 100km per hour.
However, the company states that the speed is electronically restricted to 70km per hour for passenger safety. The electric bike can travel a range of 100km on a full charge which takes up to 3 hours according to the specification sheet.
Features
The Teleport Model T1 Electric Bike features a 3.5-inches LDC display which functions as an odometer and speedometer apart from providing other essential information.
Some additional features found in the electric bike include:
- Anti-theft GPS tracking and geo-fencing
- Power and Temperature Management System
- Cruise Control
- Regenerative Braking
- Walk speed mode
Safety
The Teleport T1 Electric Bike is one of the first to introduce Electronic Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) which is something missing from current motorbikes, including those with combustion engines.

Teleport Model T1 Electric Bike Price in Pakistan
According to the startup, the price of their electric bike is going to be around Rs. 150,000 which is quite competitive compared to the current motorbikes available on the market.
