After months of rumors, Indus Motor Company (IMC) will finally be launching the Toyota Corolla Cross in Pakistan next month according to the company’s CEO Ali Asghar Jamali.
While talking to a media outlet, the company’s CEO said that the Toyota Corolla Cross will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Thailand and a few of the vehicles have already been brought in for testing purposes.

Toyota Corolla Cross Variants
Corolla Cross is offered in two engine options in Thailand one of which includes a 1.8L petrol powered engine capable of producing 140 horsepower (HP) and 175 Newton metres (Nm) of torque.
The other variant comes with a 1.8L hybrid engine that generates 98 horsepower (hp) and 142 Newton metres (Nm) of torque.
Both variants of the Toyota Corolla Cross are equipped with a 7 speed automatic CVT transmission which offers a front wheel drive only. However, there are no details yet regarding what variant is going to be launched in Pakistan.

Corolla Cross Price
The price of the Toyota Corolla Cross has not been disclosed but according to sources, the vehicle is expected to hit Pakistani markets around Rs. 5.5 million to Rs. 6.5 million.
Even though the Ali Asghar Jamali says that the cars will be imported as CBU there is not telling that the end product might end up being a CKD with removed features compared to the international variant.
