Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a massive increase in their car prices in Pakistan because of the sudden devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against US Dollar (USD to PKR), which has made business extremely difficult for all automotive companies in the country.
However, the booking for vehicles still remain suspended with company cancellation already booked orders. According to the details, the newly released prices of Toyota cars are only indicative and subject to change. The company has mentioned that prices prevailing at the time of delivery shall be applicable.
It is pertinent to mention that Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) announced to provide full refund to customers along with mark-up payment for order cancellation as the company is facing disruption in its production due to constraints on approval of Letter of Credit (LCs) from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for the import of CKD kits.
The mentioned prices are indicated and subject to change,
The price prevailing at time of delivery shall be applicable.
Booking remain suspended until further notice.
The mentioned prices do not include transportation, transit insurance charges, etc. and these are to be charged to the customers as per applicable rates.
Any changes in government taxes, tariff, fiscal policies, import policies, forex, and more will be on account of the customer.
The mentioned prices are exclusive of income tax / WHT, which will be charged from customers.
