Al Haj FAW Motors have issued a public notice stating that their manufacturing plant has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Al Haj FAW Motors the reason for shutting down their manufacturing plant is to ensure the safety of their workers and the community as a whole and this would result in delays to the delivery period of vehicles.
The production will remain closed until further notice as the company complies with the government lockdown and delivery and services will start back up once the coronavirus situation settles.

Earlier Al Haj FAW also extended the warranties for their vehicles for the period affected by lockdown. Warranty period for March 2020 to April 2020 has been extended to June 2020 for the convenience of the customer.
Other car manufacturers have also halted production of their vehicles owing the to lockdown extension and rise in the coronavirus cases in the country.
Honda Atlas and Toyota IMC have also issued public notices informing of the shut down of their manufacturing plant and other companies including Pak Suzuki, Hyundai Nishat Motors, United Auto Industries, KIA Motors, Regal Automobiles and Master Motors have also shut down production.
