Banks to Remain Closed on Monday [14 August 2023]

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that banks will remain closed on August 14 (Monday) on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to the details, the SBP announced a bank holiday on the occasion of Independence Day (14 August 2023)

In a notification, the SBP stated, “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on Monday, August 14, 2023 on the occasion of ‘Independence Day’ as declared by the Government of Pakistan.”

This year will mark 76 years of Pakistan’s independence, which is celebrated by people with across the country, who decorate their vehicles everyone with green color and Pakistan’s flag.

Meanwhile, the residents also decorate their houses and even markets with flags and lights to express their love for the country.
