During this crucial phase of pandemic, foodpanda launched its “Foodpanda Home chefs” scheme with a hashtag #GharKaKhana, that provides employment to more than 1 Lac Pakistanis from all over the country. This initiative allows the citizens to register on the application through a simple online process, get orders, deliver their home made food to the customers and earn more than 50,000 a month.
Foodpanda is a food delivery mobile application, operational in 13 countries including Pakistan, that allows users to order local food and delivers it to their doorsteps.
“Ghar ka Khana” (homemade food) is loved and craved by the huge population of Pakistanis. With “Foodpanda home chefs” scheme, currently 60% females and 40% males are earning from home. This platform not only provides employments, but is also a good approach for females who want to pursue their career in cooking. Not only the chefs, young teen boys are also benefiting from this initiative by providing part-time delivery services to foodpanda, earning good sum of money in return.
Foodpanda is a huge brand, associated with 27,095 restaurants from 193 cities and works with 15,733 delivery riders, all over the world. The brand has always been active according to the on-going situations of the country, be it PSL phase or the month of Ramadan, providing appreciable discounts every now and then. Presently, foodpanda is providing mega discounted deals, entitled “foodmania” on 240+ restaurants.
