Gold prices in Pakistan remain high as the cost of a single tola of 24-karat gold surged to Rs 319,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 1,650 on Wednesday, reaching a record Rs 319,000.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 1,415, settling at Rs 273,491, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold was recorded at Rs 250,700.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a notable uptick, gaining $16 to close at $3,038 per ounce, further reflecting the metal’s robust upward trend.
In contrast, silver prices held steady, with per-tola rates unchanged at Rs 3,555 and 10-gram silver prices at Rs 3,047.
The sustained surge in gold prices underscores its growing appeal amid economic shifts, drawing attention from investors and market observers alike.
