KIA has launched the new Sportage Aplha variant to make the vehicle more accessible to those customers at a lower price however, what’s disappointing is the fact that KIA like other local manufacturers have gone ahead and sacrificed safety to justify the lower price.

Some of the features found standard in KIA cars globally have been removed in Pakistan. The company first cut out side airbags in their top end Sportage AWD and now they have gone even further removing more safety features which are considered essential in some parts of the world.

As important as it may be for an SUV to have Vehicle Stability Control, we have limited choices and the competition isn’t offering much either in this price now.
KIA Sportage Alpha with a price of Rs. 4,399,000 in Pakistan is still a good option when compared to the competition but still disappointing with limited safety features at such a high price.
