Meezan Bank Limited (MBL) customers have started facing technical issues as number of complaints have been posted against the banking institution on social media. It bears mentioning that the development comes just days after Habib Bank Limited (HBL) customers witnessed automatic deductions in the name of duplicate transactions.
According to the complaints being posted on social media, Meezan Bank Limited (MBL) customers are facing multiple issues, including their debit and credit cards not working properly on ATMs or POS Terminal. Meezan Bank (MBL) customers have reported that their transactions are being declined on POS Terminals and ATMs, however, the amount is being deducted (debited) from their accounts multiple times.
Furthermore, the same issue is being experienced while using the debit or credit cards for online transactions. Moreover, the Meezan Bank App is also experiencing similar issues with several errors while trying to perform any transaction. The amount is being deducted from customer’s account but the transaction is giving some kind of error.
Meanwhile, the Meezan Bank Limited (MBL) helpline is inaccessible for many customers, which is probably due to the high influx of complaints but some customers have reported that they were able to reach customer support and the bank’s representatives have assured them that the debited amount will be credited in their bank account by Monday.

I visited carrefour swiping the card, the card showed invalid transaction, to which the worker tried again as I asked him to but still the same message appeared on the screen. So, I payed with cash. While reaching home, I got to know the transaction has been made from the account three times and the amount deducted.

I was making Facebook Ads payment, But Facebook was showing that amount cannot be charged. When i checked my bank account.. Amount was deducted twice.. And now my account is in Negative while I don’t even have Credit Card or any credit type of account. I have been trying Meezan Bank Limited Help Line but it’s not in reach.
