The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) saw a slight appreciation against the US Dollar in the interbank market, closing at 280.17 on March 17, 2025, compared to 280.22 on March 14, 2025.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), this reflects a 0.02% appreciation in the local currency.
As noted by SBP, the PKR strengthens when fewer rupees are needed to buy one US dollar. This small but positive shift signals minor stability in the currency market.
