Prince Pearl was launched almost three years ago and the vehicle has been quite successful in the budget range being one of the cheapest options available in the country. The current price tag of the Prince Pearl in Pakistan stands at Rs. 1,850,000, which has been almost doubled since the launch.

Prince Pearl offers some good options for the price; however, the vehicle cannot compete with Japanese cars. Although, it can go head to head with local vehicles like the Suzuki Alto VXR given in terms of features and quality. It must be noted that Suzuki Alto still wins in terms of resale value, parts availability, and maintenance.

Specifications

The Prince Pearl is powered by a 796cc engine similar to that of Suzuki Mehran with a horsepower of 40hp coupled with a 4 speed manual transmission, which is a major draw back for the vehicle as one feels the need for fifth gear while driving on the highway / motorway.

Is it worth buying?

Yes, if you’re on a low budget and want a brand new vehicle. However, the vehicle must be maintained properly. I have personally used Prince Pearl and it has a comfortable ride and a good drive compared to Suzuki Alto. However, the only problem I noticed is the material of the interior is low quality and started wearing after one year of use. These wear and tears include the AC button, which is faded and turned white after repeated use.
