The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has asked all banks to expedite the disbursement of loans for the approved cases under the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme after the Federal Government restored programme for people who had already been given the approval for the housing loan.
“Today, SBP asked all banks to expedite disbursement of approved cases under Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar,” said the central bank on Twitter, adding that it will closely monitor all such cases and applicants finding any difficulty may lodge a complaint at servicedesk.sbp.org.pk.

However, the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme is still on hold for new applicants as the Government is working on reviewing and revising the features of the programme.
It is pertinent to mention that the Federal Government had also instructed to halt disbursement of loans under the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme.
