Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) released a public notice stating that the company has shut down its production plant for 5 days after several employees tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The step was taken after several employees working at the Toyota production plant were diagnosed with COVID-19 when the company performed random testing of their employees.
For the safety of everyone and following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government, Toyota IMC has closed its plant for 5 days so that they can test its entire workforce and have time to disinfect the entire facility.
The notification states that normal operations will resume from 11 June 2020.
