As of 3 April 2025, Wednesday, the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) depreciated slightly against the US Dollar (USD) in today’s interbank market session.
The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) recorded a slight dip in value today, closing at Rs. 280.56, which shows a 0.14% decrease from the previous rate of Rs. 280.16 recorded on 28 March 2025.
The State Bank of Pakistan explains that the rupee depreciates when it takes more PKR to purchase one USD and appreciates when it takes less PKR to acquire one USD.
The minor decrease in currency value mirrors continuous variations within the foreign exchange market.wer rupees are needed. Today’s marginal decline reflects ongoing fluctuations in the foreign exchange market.
