The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has announced on Thursday that board exams in Pakistan will commence from 15 June 2021.
Taking to Twitter, the Federal Education Minister said, “Interprovincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) took place yesterday. It was decided that Board exams would begin after June 15.”
“Intermediate and Matric exams would be given priority so that results can come in before university admissions.” he added in his tweet.

Shafqat Mahmood clarified that board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be given priority so that results can come in before university admissions. Furthermore, the mentioned that exact dates for the examination will be announced by respective boards.

Yesterday, the federal minister also confirmed that classes 9 and 10 will be taking their board exams according to the time table and there is no truth to rumors that students will be promoted without exams.
