Dubai’s Crown Prince has initiated the Hamdan bin Mohammed Academic Scholarship Programme, a Dh1.1 billion initiative to support exceptional Emirati graduates from both public and private schools in Dubai. The program aims to sponsor the higher education of outstanding Emirati school graduates, allocating funds for 100 students annually. Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will be accepted from April 2024 through the Dubai Now platform, specifically through the ‘Emirati’ icon.
Administered by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the selection criteria will align with terms and conditions set by the authority, with the application window coinciding with the announcement of high school results.
This initiative is part of the broader Dubai Social Agenda 33, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The program is strategically designed to empower Dubai’s human capital by providing top-performing Emirati students with advanced education opportunities at leading academic institutions. Its objective is to contribute to building a knowledgeable society and prepare a futuristic workforce.
