Erasmus University Rotterdam is offering Scholarships for outstanding international students for their academic year 2021-2022. Students from non-EEA countries can avail of this opportunity and apply by April 15, 2021. Students interested to study in the Netherlands can apply for their prescribed research master’s programs.

Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship
The Erasmus MC Graduate Scholarship is financed by the Erasmus MC Graduate School, and is intended for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to start in one of the following research master programs at Erasmus MC/Erasmus University Rotterdam:
- Clinical Research;
- Health Sciences;
- Molecular Medicine;
- Neuroscience;
- Infection & Immunity.
Annually, each research master program has one scholarship available.
Requirements
- You are planning to start in/have been admitted to one of the Erasmus MC research master programs;
- Your study results are very good and you are strongly motivated to start the program;
- You are considered to be a high achieving student according to Erasmus MC’s standards;
- You are unable to finance your study yourself;
- You have not obtained a diploma at an educational institution in the Netherlands;
- You have never been enrolled as a full-degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands;
- You have to reside in the Netherlands to open a Dutch bank account in order to receive the scholarship.

The Erasmus University Holland Scholarship
The Erasmus University Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Erasmus University Rotterdam. The scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in Holland. The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
The scholarship amount
€ 5,000, € 10,000 or € 15,000 (to be decided by the faculty). You will receive the scholarship in the first year of your studies.
Requirements
- Your nationality is non-EEA and you pay the institutional tuition fee;
- You are an excellent student according to Erasmus MC’s standard;
- You are applying for a full-time master’s program at Erasmus University Rotterdam;
- You did not obtain a diploma at an educational institution in the Netherlands;
- You have never been enrolled as a full degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands;
- You can only receive the Holland Scholarship Erasmus University once;
- You meet the specific requirements set by Erasmus MC.
