LAHORE: Education Minister of Punjab Dr Murad Raas confirms via tweet that fake news circulating on social media about winter vacation extended in Punjab province.

The Government of Punjab extended the winter vacations till 6th January 2019, whereas from 7th January schools and colleges will reopen.

Colleges in punjab are open since 1st Jan 2019. At the time of extention of holidays colleges were not mentioned included. The notification issued was for only schools.
