Currently social media is filled with fake news about closure of Sindh schools till the 1st of April 2020 as confirmed by Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh on Law, Anti-Corruption Establishment, and information Murtaza Wahab.
A notification was issued by the government of Sindh closing educational institutions in the province till 13 March 2020 amid new coronavirus cases that emerged in the country with two of them belonging to Karachi.
This notification was issued after schools were closed for two days by the Sindh government however, it was later decided to extend this period.

However, social media is now flooded with fake news about schools being closed until the April but the news has been confirmed as being fake by Murtaza Wahab as the Advisor to the Chief Minister posted on Twitter saying:
A lot of fake news has been circulating in the social media about the corona virus, #SindhGovt is requesting Federal Govt to direct FIA Cyber Crime Cell to immediately take action against people who are creating this disinformation. We all need to act responsibly. Thank you
As of right now, there are a total of 5 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Pakistan. Two of the cases are in Karachi while one is from Islamabad and two are from the federal areas.
