HEC to Start Online Degree Verification

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission has planned to introduce Online Degree Verification,  The chairman (HEC) Tariq Banuri said on Saturday.

Dr. Tariq Banuri addressing to a news conference in Islamabad said that Information Technology is being promoted through Smart University Programme to facilitate students and ensure their security.

The HEC chairman also said a policy is being devised for the first time to provide facilities to special students to ensure that they have deprived of higher education due to their disability.

Chairman said International Universities are willing to establish campuses in Pakistan but receive approve from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Interior Ministry first.

up till now, HEC Degrees cannot be verified Online and In future, it will be easier for anyone to validate online.
