The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched the Insaf Taleem Card for the academic year 2022-2023 in order to help needy and deserving students get a college education. According to the details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet has approved a sum of Rs. 998.5 million for the programme.
Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mahmood Khan, said that launch of the Insaf Taleem Card was a revolutionary step that will ensure the provision of free education to millions of needy college students, who are studying at government colleges in the province.
Minister for Higher Education, Kamran Bangash and Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif while briefing journalists said that Insaf Taleem Card was the second biggest project launched by the provincial government, which will help millions of students across the province.
It is pertinent to mention that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government’s Insaf Sehat Sahulat Card (Health Card) was the first flagship initiative launched by the provincial government for citizens of the province.
According to the details, the Insaf Taleem Card will benefit students enrolled in government colleges and facing hardships paying their annual / semester admission fees.
