KP Changes Summer Vacations 2023 Schedule

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has announces summer vacations for throughout the Summer Zone from 12 June 2023 to 31 August 2023 after abrupt and unusual change in weather conditions of the province.

According to the details, the development comes a day after two dozen people were killed and over 100 injured due to heavy rains and thunderstorms in parts of the province.

In a notification issued by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), it is stated that summer vacations will commence from 12 June 2023 to 31 June 2023 throughout the summer zone.

“The Competent Authority is pleased to issue the following amended schedule for Summer Vacation, due to abrupt and unusual change in weather condition of the province.” the notification read.

Previously, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) announced summer vacation throughout the summer zone from 15 June 2023 to 31 August 2023. Meanwhile, all the schools in the Winter Zone of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will follow the previous summer vacations from 1 July 2023 to 31 July 2023.
