The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has announced that matric and intermediate (class 10 and 12) exams will be held between 23 June to 29 July.
The announcement was made during a session of the National Command and Operations (NCOC) under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar.
The meeting reviewed the current coronavirus situation in the country and decided to hold matric and intermediate (class 10 and 12) exams between 23 June to 29 July.
Furthermore, the provinces can start preparation for classes 10 and 12 from 31 May 2021, however, the coronavirus SOPs must be strictly observed.
Moreover, the NCOC has made COVID-19 vaccination compulsory for teachers and other staff of educational institutions in order to curb the spread of the disease during upcoming examinations.
The NCOC has opened walk-in coronavirus vaccination for teachers and schools staff, which is said to be completed by 10 June before the start of matric and intermediate (class 10 and 12) exams.
