LAHORE: There will be no change in the phase-wise reopening of schools in Punjab according to provincial education minister Murad Raas.
According to the Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas, the COVID-19 situation is being closely monitored on a day to day basis and reopening of schools in Punjab will continue as planned earlier this month.
The Punjab education minister states that they have sealed schools where coronavirus cases have been detected as there will be no compromise on the health of students, teachers or their families.
However, Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has stated earlier that the dates are not final and can be altered if the situation demands. There is also a meeting that will be held on 22nd September to discuss the current coronavirus situation.

Earlier, Sindh Education Minister announced that the second phase of reopening schools in the province was being postponed by one week after several students and teachers tested positive for coronavirus.
Furthermore, the Sindh Education Minister stated that the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) at some schools was not up to the mark which was matter of concern.
