The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) announced dates for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 for admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes on Twitter. However, the regulatory authority later deleted their tweet but many people were able to save the notification.
According to the details, the MDCAT 2022 will be held from September 7-30 and students will be able to download their roll number slips this week through the student’s portal. However, it bears mentioning that dates might change as PMC did delete the notification for some reason from their Twitter handle.
The Tweet was also indexed by Google, however, it is no longer available once you click on it.
It is pertinent to mention that PMC has
authorized the following weightage of questions in relation to areas featured in the MDCAT curriculum in June of this year:
- Biology 34%
- Chemistry 27%
- Physics 27%
- English 9%
- Logical Reasoning 3%
Since MDCAT consists of 200 MCQs, the number of questions from each subject can be deduced easily.
- Biology 68 MCQs
- Chemistry 54 MCQs
- Physics 54 MCQs
- English 18 MCQs
- Logical Reasoning 6 MCQs
