Now I can proudly call myself ‘The influencer’ – Waqar Zaka

KARACHI: Social Media influencer Waqar Zaka shared the good news about winning the first Technology Movement Pakistan (TMP) case in which Sindh Textbook Board, Jamshoro will revise the Computer Science book for Class-IX.

According to Press Release issued by Sindh Textbook Board, Jamshoro said “This is to notify for all stakeholders, students, teachers, and for general information that textbook of computer science for Class-IX is under process of publishing. The new edition as per new curriculum of said Textbook will be available in the forthcoming session 2020-21.”

Waqar Zaka thanked Almighty Allah as he shared this news on social media that the Computer Science textbook is under the process of publishing, according to Zaka he filed a case against Education Department a few months ago stating “Why are you still teaching floppy disc etc.. that is, 1997 computer course?”

After which he met Murtaza Wahab (PPP) and Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh who took the notice and on the 21st February Education ministry Sindh issued a notification of a new edition of the book is being published.
