Punjab Winter Vacations 2022 Notification Issued

The Government of Punjab has announced the dates for winter vacations this year (2022) and a notification has been issued in this regard by concerned department.

According to the details, all public and private schools in Punjab shall observe winter vacations and remain closed from 24th December 2022 to 31st December 2022.

The schools will reopen on Monday, 2nd January 2023 and resume full / normal week for all classes.

The notification added that restrictions regarding wearing of face masks within school premises shall remain intact.

Previously, the Government of Punjab announced three weekly holidays for schools in Lahore due to increasing smog in the provincial capital.

The provincial government had declared Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a holiday for all offices and schools in Lahore to combat the worsening smog situation in the city.
