LAHORE: Punjab schools will be reopening from 15 September depending on the coronavirus situation in the province according to the Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas.
Murad Raas took to the online social media site Twitter to inform everyone that Punjab schools will be reopening on 15 September depending on the coronavirus situation in the province and with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
According to the Education Minister, these standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be conveyed in detail to all public and private stake holders before reopening of schools in the province.

Furthermore, Murad Raas said that all other news regarding reopening of schools in Punjab is “FAKE NEWS” as there have been many reports in the past giving wrong information and dates regarding opening of educational institutes.
Reopening of schools across the country
The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood also announced on Wednesday that schools across the country will be reopening on September 15 and this decision was made at a meeting of the Education Ministers from all provinces.
However, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recommended that schools be reopened from September 1 but that was rejected by all provinces.
