The Religious Education Board has started holding its examinations from today under very strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Pakistan’s Wafaqul Madaris Al Arabia held its examination today (11 July) and these will continue till 16 July with more than 300,000 students sitting in the examinations.

These Religious Education Board examinations will take place at 2,166 examination centers and will be invigilated by more tahn 1,400 staff members.
Dr Maulana Abdul Razzaq of the Wafaqul Madaris Al Arabia lauded the teachers for holding the examinations and said that Madrassah Association was unique for holding these exams during the pandemic.
Schools, universities to re-open from 15 September:
In related news, educational institutions including all schools, colleges and universities will re-open in Pakistan on 15 September if coronavirus situation improves according to the Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.
