KARACHI: The new academic session in Sindh starts from 1 June 2020 according to the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department who issued a notification regarding the matter.
This commencement of the new academic session in Sindh will be followed by all private and government educational institutions including Aga Khan University Examination Board however the academic session for Cambridge will commence from 1 August 2020.

Examination Schedule
According to the notification students of class I – III shall be promoted after written examination and evaluation. Examination for classes IV to VII shall take place from 1 June 2020 and complete before 15 June 2020 on which date, the result will be announced.
Exam timetable for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) has also been announced. Examination for SSC-1 and SCC-II (Class XI and X) will take place from 15 June 2020 including the practical examinations and exams will be held during evening shift. Theory Examination of HSC-I and II (Class XI and XIII) will be conducted from 6 July 2020 during evening shifts as well.
Result for Class X (SSC-II) will be announced by 15 Auguest 2020 whereas result of SSC-I (Class IX) will be announced withtin 60 days after result of Class X. The HSC-II result shall be announced on 15 September 2020. where as the result of Class XI will be announced within 60 days of Class XII.
Admission Schedule
Admissionos for classes I -XI will be conducted from 1 June 2020 to 10 June 2020 however, classes will start fro 1 June 2020. Admissions for Class XI and higher will be conducted in June however, it will depend on the result of Class IX and Class X.

Examination System
No unauthorized person will be allowed in examination centers and everyone allowed will be issued a card by BISE. Nobody will be allowed to carry any smartphones, tablets or smart watch into the examination centers and if anybody does bring mentioned devices, these will be confiscated and will not be returned.
Cheating is strictly prohibited and strict action will be taken on all parties found to be involved in such activities. Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam or any further papers whereas teaching and non-teaching staff found involved shall be dismissed from service immediately.
The School Education Department Boards will issue a code of conduct for the teaching and non-teaching staff that will be present in examination centers. A WhatsApp group shall also be set-up in this regard where general public can get any related information and report on cheating and malpractices. The informer will be rewarded.
