The Sindh Education Department has rolled out updated school schedules for Ramadan 2025, ensuring a balanced routine for students and staff during the holy month.
These changes cater to both single-shift and double-shift institutions, accommodating fasting and prayer times while maintaining educational continuity.
For single-shift primary schools, classes will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 1:30 PM. On Fridays, however, they’ll wrap up earlier at 11:30 AM to allow time for prayers.
Meanwhile, double-shift primary schools will follow a split schedule: the morning shift runs from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the afternoon shift operates from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. On Fridays, the afternoon session will close at 1:30 PM.
Secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools with a single-shift system will stick to the 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM window, with an early dismissal at 11:30 AM on Fridays. For those running double shifts, the first shift is set from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the second shift from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. On Fridays, the second shift will end at 1:15 PM.
These tailored timings will remain active throughout Ramadan 2025, reflecting the department’s efforts to support students and educators during this significant period.
