ENGLAND: Albert Finney UK actor has peacefully passed away at the age of eighty-two.
He was the legendary Oscar nominated actor of Skyfall, Tom Jones and Erin Brockvich.
Details of his death are little known but a family spokes person confirmed he died after short illness with only those closest to him by his side.
He was fighting kidney cancer as it was revealed in 2011.

He was Oscar nominee for five-times. He was nominated for:
- Tom Jones,1963 film directed by Tony Richardson, for which he received his first Best Actor Academy Award nomination
- Murder on the Orient Express in 1974,
- The Dresser in 1983
- Under the Volcano in 1984.
- Also nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Erin Brokovich in 2000.

He was born in Salford village of Pendelton on May 9, 1936. He started his career as theater actor and performed in William Shakespeare plays frequently.

He made his movie debut in 1960 with a small part in John Osborne’s “The Entertainer”. But he made his breakthrough as the lead role in Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. He performed as the factory worker Arthur Seaton.

He was voted as the ninth most popular box office star of the year in 1963, following his success in Tom Jones.
He most recently appeared in the James Bond film Skyfall and the Bourne films.
He was previously married to Jane Wenham and French actress Anouk Aimee. He became father for the first time at the age of 22 when his ex-wife Jane Wenham gave birth to their son, Simon Finney.
He married his current wife, Pene Delmage, in 2006.
