Bon Jovi’s founding member bassist Alec John Such has died at the age of 70, Jon Bon Jovi announced the death of the band’s founding member.
Jon Bon Jovi shared on social media about the sudden death of Alec John Such, founding member of the Bon Jovi, Band.
“We are heartbroken to hear the news of the passing our dear friend Alec John Such. He was an original, As a founding member of Bon Jobi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band, To be honest, we found our way to each other through him, He was a childhood friend of Tico and brought Richie to see us perform. Alec was always wild and full of life. Today those special memories bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes. We’ll miss him dearly.” – Bon Jovi
Mr Such was one of the founding members of the New Jersey rock band, Bon Jovi and appeared on their debut album Bon Jovi in 1984.
The band sold over 20 million copies, including the hits “Livin on a Prayer”, Slippery When wet” and “Runaway”.
In 1994 Mr Such was replaced with Huge MacDonald as bass player for Bon Jovi and in 2018 he re-joined the band for its induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
