Hum TV has just dropped the first teaser for its highly anticipated romantic comedy Tanaa Banaa starring the young and hypnotic Alizeh Shah alongside the charismatic Danyal Zafar, and by the looks of it, the forthcoming screenplay has blockbuster written all over it. Tanaa Banaa is all set to captivate the audience in its magical love saga. The drama serial is said to hit the television screens this Ramadan, however, no official date is yet revealed.

Hence, continuing its legacy, Hum TV is back with another family oriented comedy this Ramadan also that already has the audience talking. With huge star studded cast on board, the approaching drama serial Tana Bana is a romantic narrative, loaded with tons of amusement that promises to leave you in fits.

About Tanaa Banaa

Directed by Saifee Hassan under the banner of Momina Duraid Productions, Tanaa Banaa is a spellbinding love story of two university students, who have a rollercoaster of obstacles ahead their happily ever after. Created exclusively for Ramadan environment, the screenplay will have oodles of hilarious family drama, twists and turns, thrilling plots and much more, followed with uproarious struggles of a deeply in love guy, trying to win the lady of his dreams.

Tana Bana features an all-star cast, with Alizeh Shah and Danyal Zafar playing the central love birds. Other than that, faces like Komal Rizvi, Amir Qureshi, Hassan Noman and Ismath will be seen in pivotal characters.

Moreover, the upcoming Rom-Com Tanaa Banaa also serves as the acting debut of critically acclaimed Danyal Zafar, who after lending his vocals in Coke Studio’s Muntazir alongside Momina Mustehsan, has taken an abrupt turn towards television.

Talking about Tanaa Banaa, Danyal Zafar revealed a bit about the storyline and his character, naming it to be a hardcore believer.

“A boy who believes in stars comes across a girl who isn’t exactly a match for him based on their horoscope but he still goes for it and it’s this entire thing on how the girl has her own ambitions, and her life revolves around the marriage. How she stands up for herself and how that causes a shift in the family dynamics. So just comedy, romance, pain, etc,” – stated Danyal.
