The blue-eyed viral face of 2016, Arshad Khan Chai Wala, after being off the sight for almost four years has finally reappeared, however with much greater ambitions and accomplishments. The Pakhtun guy from Islamabad, who gained massive popularity overnight, owing to his alluring looks and mesmerizing eyes, now runs his own roof-top café at the capital city and his native land. Hence, the teen is back to what brought him prestige that is serving his magical tea.
Backstory
Going back to September 2016, the then 17-years-old Arshad Khan Chai Wala was assigned to his daily errands of making and serving tea at the Sunday Bazaar of Islamabad. While the teenager was wrapping up for the day at 8:00 pm, a renowned professional photographer Jiah Ali, caught his striking blue gaze on the camera. After about a month later, Jiah posted the artwork on her Instagram handle and that was a turn of fortune for the regular tea seller. His portrait soon went flooding on the social media sites, with netizens appreciating the marine eyed natural beauty. The teen soon rocketed to eminence as “Arshad Khan Chai Wala” when he was not even sure of his appearance that had fascinated the whole nation. According to him, he was not even considered most handsome among his other seventeen siblings.
“I didn’t know that my looks were out of the ordinary. I think all Pashtun people are good looking, so I didn’t think of myself as being special. My older brother says he is much more handsome than me.” – stated Arshad when applauded over his fine features.

Nevertheless, as the nation acclaimed Arshad for quite a long time, many brands thought of him as a coupon to milk money and he was soon offered numerous modeling and acting projects. Henceforth, ‘Arshad Khan Chai Wala’ surfaced.
Here to mention, Arshad was also featured in renowned singer Muskan Jay’s musical video titled Beparwahi. Arshad’s venture into entertainment industry continued with several modeling shoots, videos and ramps in various top fashion shows. Also, he was interviewed by almost every local news channel, adding to his intensified fame.
But then, as Arshad hailed from the conservative Pashtun family, he was later prohibited to work at showbiz by his parents and after a time span of several months, the tea seller had completely vanished.
Arshad Khan Chai Wala is back
Nonetheless, after being off the radar for almost 4 years, the Arshad Khan Chai Wala is back into limelight. In an interview earlier, Arshad revealed that he had started making tea yet again, calling it to be his identity.
“This is who I am. I don’t drink tea myself but I love making it for other people.”
To present, Arshad has now launched his own café at Islamabad, entitled “Café Chai Wala.”

Arshad Khan’s café, located at a roof-top in Islamabad roars Pakistani culture and heritage, with its theme around truck and vibrant colors, followed with typical interior designing.
“Most people ask me to remove Chaiwala from the name of the café, but I think this is something that gifted me an identity of my own, which I will always cherish.” – Mentioned Arshad in an interview.
Moreover, besides his profession as a tea seller, Arshad has other ambitions too. The young and determined tween also dreams of constructing an organization someday, which will promote education in youth and enhance their skills to uphold healthier future.
