Friday takes a turn for the legendary as Canadian icons, the Cowboy Junkies, grace the stage with their haunting harmonies and signature brand of melancholy Americana. Joining them is the acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow, whose soaring vocals and poetic lyrics are sure to resonate with the audience.
Get ready to groove on Saturday! Philly’s finest, the Grammy Award-winning hip-hop collective The Roots, will bring their infectious energy and dynamic live show to Calgary. Sharing the spotlight is the ever-popular Scottish singer-songwriter, KT Tunstall, whose blend of pop, rock, and folk is guaranteed to get the crowd moving.
The festival wraps up on Sunday with a high-octane double bill. Booker T. Presents: A Stax Revue promises a celebration of the iconic Stax Records sound, featuring classic soul and R&B hits. Closing out the festival is Fantastic Negrito, the electrifying artist known for his genre-bending blend of rock, funk, and blues.
But the headliners are just the tip of the iceberg. Dozens more talented artists will be taking the stage throughout the weekend, ensuring a non-stop musical journey.
