Haseeb Hasan has recently dropped the first look of his highly anticipated Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir starrer web series Dhoop Ki Deewar, created exclusively for streaming giant Zee5. And, by the looks of it, the series is all set to smash Churails’ set records.
The charismatic and exclusively talented couple of Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir lie among the highly notable veterans of the entertainment industry. The duo had first paired up for Hum TV’s chartbuster serial Yaqeen Ka Safar. And, with their mesmerizing on-screen chemistry, the couple garnered wide accolades and critical adorations, and hence huge population of ‘Sahad’ shippers surfaced.
Later, Sajal and Ahad once again collaborated for historical drama Aangan and thriller Yeh Dil Mera, both of which were a massive success. The celebrity couple tied knot in March 2019.
14th of March marked the first wedding anniversary of the prodigious showbiz couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir. Hence, the duo received bundles of well wishes and blessings sent their way by their die-hard fans, followers and other showbiz personalities. However, among the plenty of other anniversary wishes, the 20 seconds video content, set forth by director Haseeb Hasan is what attracted the most public eyes, and has once again exhilarated the ‘Sahad’ admirers.
The short clip, shared by Haseeb was from Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir’s approaching web series Dhoop Ki Deewar. And, as the teaser says, the screenplay is a passionate love story, jam-packed with Sajal and Ahad’s blazing chemistry.

“Cherishing my favourite moment of Vishal-Sara from Dhoop Ki Deewar on this day,” he added.
Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir to share screens once again
The massively adored, fan favorite duo Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir is all set to capture the viewers in their magical on-screen romance yet again, with Zee5’s forthcoming web series Dhoop Ki Deewar. Penned down by the versatile writer Umera Ahmed, the series is brought to life by phenomenal director Haseeb Hasan, known for his masterpieces like Diyaar-e-dil, Mann Mayal, Alif and Parwaz Hai Junoon. The project is currently being filmed, and therefore no premiere date is yet released.

About Dhoop Ki Deewar
As said by the director, the forthcoming web series Dhoop Ki Deewar is an across the borders love story of Vishal and Sara, played by Sajal Ahad respectively. However, unlike other typical fairytales, Dhoop ki Deewar houses enormous twists and turns, blended with hatred and love between two distinct nations, that are India and Pakistan.
Furthermore, the story will follow martyrdom of a significant individual, whose demise leads to the union of two borders across families. The narrative is portrayed from a neutral angle, and adapts to both Indian and Pakistani nations equally. Vishal is an Indian soldier, whereas Sara is a Pakistani teen, hence the story will also follow mesmerizing long distance relationship.
Talking about his impending venture, director Haseeb Hasan commented, “The plot revolves around two families that are united by their father’s death – one is an Indian soldier and the other, a Pakistani. How the martyrdom affects the families and how they realize that peace is much better than war is what the web series will teach us.”
In addition to this, Haseeb continued, revealing his reasons of picking digital platform and not local streaming channels.
“I don’t know how ready we are to talk about peace but since both India and Pakistan are atomic powers, one thing that I do know is that we are not ready for war. Dhoop Ki Deewar couldn’t have been a TV serial as it talks about both sides from a neutral point of view. Featuring Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly in lead roles, it will be path-breaking in making the audience switch to web, slowly and gradually. If you remember, we used to pay for incoming calls back in the day but now we can talk to anyone for any duration for free. This is exactly how international platforms will grow in Pakistan and the sooner we realize that, the better.”
