Dwayne Johnson to star in Amazon Studios' 'Red One'

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has added another title to this year’s acting credits as he recently signs up for forthcoming holiday action adventure film for Amazon Studios. Titled to be “Red One” the movie is scheduled to commence filming in 2022, with a planned 2023 holiday release.

Despite having a jampacked year ahead, with Fast and Furious 10, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam and DC league of Super pets on 2021 cards, the king of entertainment Dwayne Johnson has given a thumbs up to another spine chilling thriller.
Titled Red One, the upcoming film will be produced by The Rock together with Dary Garcia and Hiram Garcia, under their banner if Seven Bucks Production. Morever, the film will also reunite Dwayne Johnson with his long term “Fast and Furious” writer buddy Chris Morgan.
Morgan has been a frequent collaborator with Seven Bucks, includingThe Fate of the Furious, Furious 7, Fast & Furious 6, and Fast Five. In all, Morgan has authored seven installments in the franchise, his association beginning with the third film, Tokyo Drift.
Recently, the writer producer duo had also collaborated on the megahit spinoff “Hobbs & Shaw.”And, soon after its running success, Dwayne Johnson and Chris Morgan have obce again joined hands for another spine chilling moving story, Red One.

Furthermore, talking about the timeline of Red One, the impending film is described as globe trotting, four quadrant action adventure comedy, which imagines a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre. As per the press release, the Dwayne Johnson starrer Red One represents a property that could encompass not only a tentpole film, but could reach beyond entertainment across multiple industries and businesses.

“Red One is incredibly special to me and a story I’ve wanted to tell for years,” stated Hiram Garcia. “An epic, edge-of- your seat, action adventure that takes beloved holiday mythology and turns it on its head. The movie will be releases on streaming giant Amazon Studios, and is slated for the forum’s 2023 movies lineup. In addition to this, Dwayne Johnson too seems excited for the Red One. Talking about his next in pipeline title,he commented,
