Fans have started a boycott against the new drama series “Barzakh” because it includes sensitive topics like homosexuality. Actors Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are facing a lot of criticism for their roles in the show.

Fawad Khan, known for his diverse roles in both Pakistani and Indian films, first gained fame as a singer before becoming an actor with Shoaib Mansoor’s popular film “Khuda Kay Liye.” He has since starred in many successful dramas and films, including “The Legend of Maula Jatt” by Bilal Lashari.

Currently, Khan stars in Asim Abbasi’s web series “Barzakh,” where he plays a character named Shahryar. The series addresses mental health issues but has faced strong criticism for its portrayal of homosexuality, leading to widespread disapproval online.

Sanam Saeed is a well-known Pakistani actress famous for her strong roles in TV dramas and films. She became popular with “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” and has also starred in “Diyar-e-Dil” and “Mera Naseeb.” In movies, she appeared in “Bachaana” and “Cake.” Recently, she is in the web series “Barzakh” with Fawad Khan, which has caused a lot of controversies.
