Hareem Shah to make acting debut with UrduFlix

The most controversial TikTok star, Hareem Shah is back into spotlight but for all the good reasons. The internet sensation, after garnering massive accolades on the video-sharing platform, is all set for her acting debut, that too with Pakistan’s first OTT platform, UrduFlix.

The modern sphere is all about lives around internet. Although mainstream media still acquires a notable rank all over the globe. But digital streaming platforms house a separate fan-base, intensifying each passing day. It is therefore the reason progressively more OTT giants are emerging, with exclusive content in keeping with the public’s interest and requirement.

Moreover, talking about Pakistan, Netflix and Amazon etc. now procures massive subscriptions from all over the country. Reason being, the audience is growing jaded of the same repeating content being shown on private channels. Hence, for the amusement, enroot to international web series.

And, considering the citizen’s demand, Pakistan also came up with its own OTT platform, created precisely for Urdu series. Titled UrduFlix, the platform was backed and launched by Emax media. The platform offers Urdu Series, films, Web series, Drama Serial and Urdu Dubbed Turkish Dramas.

To keep the audience hooked to the giant, show-runners and filmmakers are contributing wholeheartedly in UrduFlix. Therefore, soon after the news of first ever Urdu series ‘Dulhan aur Aik Raat’, featuring Alizeh Shah settled down, another forthcoming web series has been announced by the platform.

Allegedly titled Raaz, the web series has been penned down by Mansoor Saeed and will be directed by Asad Ali Zaidi. However, no further details are yet disclosed as the series is still at its initial phase.

Nevertheless, there’s an added detail revealed that has caught the audience eye. The upcoming television series Raaz marks the acting debut of the astoundingly beautiful Hareem Shah.

The news was announced by both Hareem Shah and UrduFlix on their respective Instagram handles. Putting forward the tiktoKer’s portraits from the set, UrduFlix profile captioned,

“One of Pakistan’s renowned TikTok star Hareem Shah is all set to jump into the acting world with a web series on Pakistan’s first Urdu OTT platform.”

Hence, after harvesting millions of followers on Chinese-originated platform, now Hareem Shah will be finally stepping into the show business.

It is pertinent to mention that prior to dealing with UrduFlix; the TikToker tuned actress had also announced a drama serial alongside Ahsan Khan. The statement was also confirmed by Ahsan himself. But now, the news seems to have died down.
